Redline: 0-100 & Speed Tracker
This policy explains what data the Redline app ("the app"), developed by Hovik Aghajanyan ("we"), handles and why. We do not run our own servers for the app and we do not sell your personal data.
Drive safely and legally
- Redline is a measuring tool. It does not encourage speeding, racing or any unsafe driving. Always obey traffic laws, speed limits and road rules where you drive.
- You alone are responsible for how you drive and for complying with all laws and regulations in your country and region. If using the app, or driving in a way that produces certain results, would break a law where you are, you must not do it. Any such use is entirely at your own risk and responsibility.
- No liability. The developer is not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, damage, fines, penalties, license points or other consequences of using the app, including any violation of traffic or other laws by the user.
- Acceleration timing and top-speed measurements should only be attempted on closed tracks or private property with permission, never on public roads.
- Do not look at or operate your device while driving. Measurements are GPS-based and approximate, and are not suitable as evidence or for any safety-critical purpose.
Location
The app uses your device's GPS to measure speed, distance, acceleration and altitude while it is open or a trip is recording. If you allow "Always" location access, the app may also be woken by significant location changes to start a trip automatically when you begin driving. Trips, routes and results are stored only on your device. We do not collect, upload or share your location.
Game Center
If you are signed in to Game Center, your results (numbers only, such as a 0–100 km/h time; never your location or route) are submitted to Apple Game Center leaderboards, achievements, challenges and activities under your Game Center nickname, and are visible to other players. Apple's privacy policy applies to Game Center.
Notifications and Live Activities
Local notifications (trip started or saved) and the Lock Screen / Dynamic Island Live Activity are generated on your device. No push servers are used.
Advertising
The free version shows ads through Unity LevelPlay mediation with ad networks Unity Ads, ironSource Ads and Google AdMob. These providers may collect and process data from your device to serve, measure and personalize ads and to prevent fraud, for example: advertising identifier (IDFA) if you allow it, IP address and approximate location derived from it, device model and OS, app interactions with ads, and diagnostic data.
- Where required (for example in the EEA and UK), we ask for your consent through Google's consent form, and you can change it later in Settings › Ad Privacy Choices.
- The advertising identifier is only accessed if you allow tracking in the system prompt. You can change this anytime in Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
- Ads are not shown to Redline Pro users.
Please see their policies: Unity Privacy Policy, ironSource Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
In-app purchases
"Redline Pro" and "Drive Display" are processed by Apple's App Store. We never receive your payment details. We only receive confirmation that a purchase was made so the app can unlock it.
Children
The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your choices
You can deny or limit location access, turn off automatic trips, notifications and Live Activities, limit ad tracking in system settings, delete individual trips in History, or delete all data in Settings › Delete All Data. Deleting the app removes all locally stored data. Game Center scores are managed by Apple.
Changes
